SERGE PENNEC GAZAILE II PSA DV4 gear ratio 1.88
SERGE PENNEC GAZAILE II PSA TU3 gear ratio 1.88
The Gaz'aile II is a small two-seater homebuilt aircraft designed by Serge Pennec, whose particularity is its motorization. This plane is equipped with automotive engines (diesel or gasoline) whose most powerful allows to reach 150 kt (280 km/h) in cruise.
The association of the manufacturers of Gaz'ailes, called CSA, chose the E-PROPS propellers for this comfortable and powerful aircraft.
Eprops is very strong. I had one on my paramotor and I have one on my gazaile. It's unbreakable. I would not exchange it for anything in the world.
The assembly of the prop went very well, due to the perfect instructions.
I used the proposed angel for the blades.
I had a static engine speed of 5200 rpm wat seemed to be ok for a start.
Then the first take-off… what a power, the plane was ascending at 1300 feet a min…fantastic!!
Then at 2500 f the horizontal flight, the engine had a max speed of 5400 rpm, also very good.
Then I made a flight at the speed a usually take, and the engine speed was 200 rpm lower than with my old propeller…Amazing!
I assume that this result in less fuel consumtion?
I’m glade I made this change.
I am delighted to have received the Durandal model for my Gaz'aile. I am sure of the performance as my hangar neighbor has one and he is very pleased. You are doing a great job.
Perfect propeller for our Gaz'aile TU. Very good contact with the sales department.
This propeller is a marvel on all planes, and on my Gaz'Aile too.
Congratulations to all your engineering team.
The performances measured with the Eprop as well in takeoff as in cruise are very close to those of a propeller with variable pitch, and with many kg less. A very good propeller for the GAZAILE.
The aircraft homebuilders of Pennec/Gazaile have won with the eProps propeller a hundred meters on the takeoff run compared to Serge Pennec's wooden propeller.

E-PROPS official propeller of GAZAILE AIRCRAFT !
The Eprops is the best we've found on the market today, it's really as a variable pitch propeller (as they say).

After many tests and tattoos I finally have the ideal propeller for my Gazaile plane.
Thank you for your advice and a big bravo to Jeremie for his research.
After 18 hours of flight I changed the propeller with a 3-blade Eprops on my PSA engine.
The result is irrevocable! Eprops What happiness!
Hoping that you will be able to derive substance from these files from test results, I congratulate you on the creation of this "magic" propeller.
