I received the propeller for my Super Guépard Rotax 100cv and quickly installed it with a 25° pitch, as instructed.
First, I conducted a test as instructed, with the engine at full throttle in level flight, and to my great surprise,
I was at 5,500 RPM, so nothing needed to be adjusted—my sincere congratulations on your exceptional expertise!
Second, I can say that I’ve rediscovered the sheer joy of flying, as my aircraft’s performance has changed so much since this installation:
- No vibrations whatsoever, regardless of engine RPM, resulting in a much more reassuring, subdued overall noise level
- Much stronger full-throttle thrust during takeoff, leading to a significantly shorter and much quieter takeoff
- A truly impressive rate of climb
- An increased cruise speed at lower RPM—truly impressive—while still feeling like the powerplant is running smoothly.
In short, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I can only commend your company for the high quality of your propeller manufacturing and customer support—I personally know of no equivalent.

The E-Props propeller suits it perfectly, the climbing and cruising performances are amazing.
And a good French propeller on a good French machine is just perfect !

Here is my experience of using an E-Props propeller. Attention, I am a standard pilot, zen, non polemist, non scientific, non handyman, and have no other experience than my own machine, except 20h on Skyranger.
The aircraft : Super Guepard SG10A (aluminium wing 10 m2), Rotax 912 100 hp, LAD-Aéro injection, 900 h.
The propeller: E-Props Durandal 3-blade 170 cm used on 170 h.
After being shown at E-Props how to adjust my propeller on the ground, I manage to do it myself!
The 'factory' setting, set to have 5500 rpm at full throttle, allowed, not to make the plane take off, but to pull it off the ground !!! On the other hand, in cruising level I found the rpm too high, with the noise that followed.
After a few tests, I currently have a little too extreme stalling (28,6°): barely 5000 rpm full throttle, but then in cruise: what a speed, what a stretch, what an auditory comfort! 105 kts for 4300 rpm, about 12 l/h. Nevertheless, the takeoff, without being a 'tear-off', remains quite short. On the other hand, and it is obvious, the engine is struggling a little at the climb, it can't take its turns, it is not good, and it is even more sensitive beyond 10.000 ft.
After this test, I'm going to go back to a more reasonable setting of 28° to start with. To be continued...
Note: these impressive shimming figures are due to the strongly concave profile of the E-Props propellers at the distance from the hub (40 cm) where the measurement is taken, so they can't be compared to the shimming of other propellers.
My Super Guepard was previously equipped with a 3-blade Swirl Duke propeller with a 175 cm diameter.
I find that my new propeller E-Props Durandal diam 170 cm is more versatile. It takes its turns better at the acceleration of the takeoff, and without ever cavitating. In cruise, it seems to me that its profile is more efficient and therefore generates less drag. In downhill cruising (300 ft/min) it is even more marked, the acceleration is more important. In gliding flight, the glide ratio is slightly improved.
These are my impressions. Obviously, I am not a test pilot. Rigorously, I would have had to take into account the blade settings, but I don't think I'm wrong (besides, we couldn't compare the settings because the profiles of the blades are completely different).
Two other points:
- the setting is easier to do by yourself.
- the weight gain is between 1 and 2 kg, it's good for the engine, and I didn't feel it on the trim level

This propeller, it's the bomb! My Super Guépard roars with pleasure and leaps off the airfield!

The best propeller for the SUPER GUEPARD: the most powerful, the lightest, the easiest to adjust. It's my choice and I stand behind it.

I have to admit I'm really happy with this new E-Props propeller.
- Absolutely no vibrations (I had a lot of them with the Duc propeller)
- No cavitation when applying power; it really “takes off” at takeoff,
- Max speed 187 at 5200 (Duc propeller: 190 at 5,500)
- Climb rate of 120 at 3'03 for 3,500 ft (Duc propeller: 3'20 for 3,500 ft)
- Weight: 1.2 kg lighter than the Duc.
The ESR effect is real. Overall, a very positive experience for me.
