The Savannah S represents the latest evolution and the synthesis of all improvements introduced by the world famous Savannah aircraft. In France, the 525 kg version is approved with the E-Props propeller.

As we need to take off very very short with the Savannah, we tried the CS Glorieuse. With the money back guarantee, we were not taking any risks. Well, we are 100% satisfied. The performance is great and the propeller is a pleasure to fly, very smooth and responsive.
Eprop: the best propeller for my 100hp Savannah.
Since I fly I tried the Duc, Kievprop and Warpdrive. Eprop wins on all points, especially because it allows me to take off short and fly fast with a much lower fuel consumption.
I am glad to see that I.C.P. has chosen this innovative brand.
This Constant Speed propeller is excellent for taking off on very short fields and it also allows to increase the cruising speed. A delight to fly.
3-blade propeller dia 1,75m on my Savannah S.
At first glance I think I may have a 5-6 knot air speed improvement.
Manifold pressure has also increased.
Take off roll with one on board 50 to 60 meters.
This carbon spacer is a great idea. Gaining 2kg on this part allows to shift the center of gravity and to make the flying much more pleasant.
We had been mounting DUC propellers for years. I was happy with them. Then I tested an EPROP, and now I've changed my mind. Lighter (that spacer is an amazing good idea), more responsive, no vibration, better speeds, and great customer service. The ideal propeller for the Savannah in flying school. Thank you EPROP.
A variable pitch propeller is not essential on a Savannah S. But in my case it is. My field is very short and I needed the best solution to take off safely.
It's done with your Glorieuse. Perfect to take off very short and keep the maximum cruising speed.
My new E Prop is fitted to my Savannah S and I am quite impressed with it , mainly it is so smooth. I was very pleased with the shipping time , four days from France to New Zealand.

Unbelievable: the metal spacer that used to be needed weighs the same as this carbon eprops. It looks great and works great.
With this eprop, I have 170 km/h at 4500 rpm on my Savannah S. It's exactly what I was looking for to fly economically but still have some cruise speed.
Received prop, thanks very much, have fitted it to my savannah s set prop to 25.30 straight and level 5650 sea level 1013 pressure, take off similar to my keiv prop climb out better 150 200 feet per minute plus as you said 5 knots, where is best rpm in straight and level with out compromising take off.

I picked up my new Savannah from the ICP factory on Tuesday and flew over the Alps to come home. The e-props propeller is beautiful! I'm super happy.
I didn't necessarily want to change my propeller for my Savannah S but for the 525kg standard (French standard for ultralights) I was told it was better. I confirm! What flexibility and energy this propeller has! I have no more vibrations. It's very beautiful with its shiny metal protection. I am very happy. Thank you for your advice and for this magnificent propeller.

I had a DUC SWIRL-3 that I changed for a DURANDAL EPROPS to get the 525 kg clearance for my Savannah S. I didn't think the difference in performance and weight would be so important. It's very interesting. Thank you for your work and your innovations that give us such exceptional performance.
Your 3-blade propeller DURANDAL-3 diameter 175 cm specially designed for our SAVANNAH-S with Rotax 912S engine gives perfect performance. It does not vibrate at all and as it is light, it stops smoothly. We recommend it.
There is a little more traction with the Titanium propeller than with the other Durandal 100 I had. I'm glad I changed. We still need to make some more adjustments to optimize it. For the moment, the engine reachs 5600 rpm at 205 km/h, and at 5100 rpm with 26.5 of map it cruises at 180 Km/h. For a Savannah S, I think that's enough!
I'm still very happy with the results of mine in Savannah. Even the fuel consumption has gone down by 0.8 liters per hour.
This Monday morning, between 2 showers, 30 minutes of control flight with the E-Props Durandal with Titanium leading edge protection, mounted yesterday on our Savannah S. A kill this propeller! The performance is there. The traction is really impressive compared to before. I had a Swirl Inconel 3-bladed 173 cm diameter.
I used to have a Flash Duc Helice: what a difference! First of all the lightness of the e-props, then its ease of assembly / adjustment and above all the cruising speed: it's very pleasant.
I don't recognize my Savannah anymore: it's a bomb now.

That's it, I've put together my new Propellers E-Props titanium!
Conclusion: 15km/h gain in cruising, less RPM in downwind to show the 100km/h in level flight and better full throttle acceleration at takeoff!
And moreover I am eligible at 525 kg standard!

I didn't think that there could be so much difference in all the flight compartments, at takeoff it pulls a lot but much stronger, me who flies a lot on short bush runways it's very reassuring, in flight a rate of climb for my part 2 times higher, a faster flight at the same engine rpm, a decrease of vibrations (really feel it), and a better cooled engine.
I've seen this in my flying environment, in Africa with outside temperatures over 40°.
I've been flying Savannah S for more than 2 years, performance/consumption with E props propeller and 800 bush wheels, pilot alone :
- 120 km/h : 8l/h 4000 rpm
- 130 km/h: 9l/h 4200 rpm
- 140 km/h: 11.5 l/h 4400 rpm
- 150 km/h: 13.5 l/h 4600 rpm
- 160 km/h : 16,5l/h 4800rpm
- 170 km/h: 19l/h 5100 rpm
- Full throttle 175 km/h: 20 l/h 5500 rpm
I fly mainly at 120km/h to enjoy the landscape, my pleasure is measured in flight time and not in distance, I limit fuel costs.
For me the "reasonable" maximum cruising speed is 150km/h, to enjoy a nice autonomy.
E-Props Durandal 100 vs DUC Swirl COMPARE on Savannah
Savannah Africa conducted a test on the E-Props Durandal 100 M to compare performance with the DUC Swirl on the Savannah S in order to establish which prop gives the better results.
ADVANTAGES OF EACH :
=> E-PROPS DURANDAL 100
1) The E-Props Durandal is lighter with lower mass moment inertia.
2) The E-Props is easier to set up the pitch more accurately. No knurling on the prop root.
3) The E-Props does not have an aluminium collar so is less susceptible to corrosion in a coastal environment.
4) The E-Props has a much longer time to inspection (2000 hrs as opposed to 800 hrs on the DUC Swirl)
5) The E-Props is smoother running requiring no balancing.
6) The E-Props results in a 13% shorter take off roll.
7) E-Props are a pleasure to do business with.
=> DUC SWIRL
1) The DUC Swirl is a more robust "looking" propeller more suited to a "Bush plane".
2) The DUC can be removed from the aircraft without having to reset the pitch [it is no more the case with the E-PROPS V20]
In conclusion we would say that the E-Props Durandal is the better propeller.

I have tested the Durandal-100-M on my Savannah-S.
I am very very satisfied because I have better performances that I had with my previous 3blades propeller .

Here is my feedback on the E-Props after 175 h with a Durandal 100 in 170 cm on Savannah-S vs the DUC Swirl that I had before:
- Cruising speed TAS + 10 to 12 Km/h
- Vmax about 15 Km/h
- Climb rate + 200 p/min approximately on the 3000 to 4000 feet belt
- The machine pulls out faster, which allows me to remove the flap notch on takeoff on my runway.
- Vibration gain at 3200 t
- And very significant weight gain
- Steady-state speed 5600 t and 5400 in stages
I was the first to be surprised by the gains on all the parameters, but the gain in performance on my machine is undeniable...
The after-sales service and availability of E-Props is also top-notch.
