After more than 150 flight hours with the DURANDEL on my Super STOL, the results have been exceptional. Its light weight protects the gearbox during rapid throttle openings on high-altitude runways. Takeoffs are powerful, and the cruise speed is optimal for long-distance travel. E-Props has managed to reconcile two requirements that were thought to be incompatible on a STOL aircraft with a super-light yet very sturdy propeller. Well done!

GLORIEUSE-3
I was already using the Durandal, which worked perfectly for me on short takeoffs. I switched to the Glorieuse last year to improve my cruising speed during my flights. The results speak for themselves: takeoff roll distances remain extremely short, and I gain over 10 km/h in high-speed cruise. The variable pitch control is smooth. Lightweight, sturdy, and extremely efficient.

I took the plunge and flew the Glorieuse in my Super STOL, and the result exceeded my expectations. At takeoff, with the throttle wide open, the plane lifts off the ground in just a few meters. Once airborne, adjusting the pitch allows you to reach a cruising speed that we didn’t think was possible with a landing gear and large wheels like these. And all this from a featherweight that doesn’t shift the center of gravity forward. A true technological triumph.

The ESR effect works wonders on my Super STOL!
I’m always looking to make the most of my aircraft’s STOL performance on very short and congested airfields. With the Durandal, the takeoff benefit is immediate: thrust is available right away. But the real surprise comes during cruise flight. Thanks to the blades’ flexibility and the ESR effect, I maintain an impressive airspeed without making the engine roar. An unmatched takeoff-to-speed trade-off for a propeller with a fixed pitch in flight.

I've owned at least seven propellers in my lifetime. Eprop is by far the best choice. It really takes off in a very, very short distance! I’ve especially noticed that it doesn’t pick up rocks in its blades, unlike the others—or maybe the propeller is just extremely sturdy. The damage to the propeller is really minimal, even though I fly on very rocky runways with my Super Stol.
