DURANDAL-3
Following the purchase of the FIH-69175 propeller shown below, please find attached the report on yesterday’s test flights for your information.
Temperature 15 degrees, QNH 1020, no wind, CAVOK.
Skyleader 150 100cv
The previous propeller was a Kaspar with no mechanical in-flight pitch control.
Kaspar Performance
Maximum RPM at fixed pitch in full low-pitch setting: 5,300 RPM
Takeoff distance: approximately 200 m on a paved runway
Climb rate at 5,200 RPM: 600 ft/min, 130 km/h
Indicated airspeed and ground speed: 180 km/h at 4,800 RPM
Indicated airspeed and ground speed: 200 km/h at 5,000 rpm
Weight: 8 kg, resulting in a lever “moment” of 18.4 kg
E-props propeller
Pitch: 25.5°
Maximum stationary speed: 5,550 rpm
Maximum RPM at full power in flight: 5,530 rpm
Takeoff distance: approximately 125 m on a paved runway
Climb rate at 5,250 rpm: 1,400 ft/min, 140 km/h
Indicated airspeed and ground speed: 200 km/h at 4,800 rpm
Indicated airspeed and ground speed: 220 km/h at 5,000 rpm
Indicated airspeed and ground speed: 230 km/h at 5,250 rpm
Weight: 2 kg, resulting in a “lever moment” of 4.6 kg
Idle and “tailwind” RPMs are excellent, with no vibrations
Significantly reduced noise level. Blades are sturdier than the Kaspar’s.
Power-on response is excessively high (I think this is due to the weight)
I can finally keep the aircraft on the main landing gear during landing; it doesn’t drop suddenly onto the main landing gear (due to the weight)
In summary, it’s perfect.

DURANDAL-3
Propeller is at home. Excellent work. It is beautiful. My friends have the same and are very satisfied. Thank you very much.
