E-PROPS was founded in 2008 by 3 partners, aviation enthusiasts and pilots: Anne Lavrand, Jérémie Buiatti and Christian Vandamme. Today, the E-PROPS team is made up of 67 aeronautical engineers and technicians, all skilled and passionate.
1 - The founding partners
Jérémie BUIATTI
Propeller designer · Technical director
Jérémie is one of E-Props' founding partners. He is the designer of E-Props propellers and head of the Research & Development department.
Since 2007, he has been developing and improving the LUKY propeller design software. LUKY is an innovative software for aerodynamic and mechanical design and manufacturing processes, using an evolutionary algorithm (metaheuristics).
He develops numerous ultra-light, high-performance propellers for paramotors, drones and aircraft, and works with his design office to refine E-Props' manufacturing processes and production machinery.
Jérémie and his team are also behind many of the innovations implemented in the new E-Props factory: heating, ventilation, alarm and lighting systems, logistics systems, layout...
He is passionate about every field of aeronautics: propellers of course, but also aerodynamics, materials, computing, instrumentation, engines... He is a pilot of airplanes, ultralights and paramotors.
Jérémie's goal: to imagine and propose simple, effective solutions to improve the overall efficiency of light aircraft.

Professional experience across several aeronautics companies: Aviasud Engineering, Airbus (Space Division), Hélices Halter, ACV Aéro Service
Pilot: airplanes, weight-shift and 3-axis ultralights, with glider and helicopter experience
Test pilot for tow-plane propellers
Contributor to several aeronautics magazines - conference speaker
In charge of company management, sales and communications - webmaster - legal affairs

Christian VANDAMME
Former production director & test pilot
Until his (well-deserved!) retirement at the end of 2019, Christian was production director and test pilot for E-Props propellers.
Engineering degree from ENSAM + ESTA (French Aeronautical Techniques School)
Holder of the Airplane Professional Theory Certificate (CPL-A)
20 years' experience in the Quality department at AEROSPATIALE Cannes, followed by 9 years managing the ACV Aéro Service design office
Pilot: airplanes and 3-axis ultralights
Test pilot engineer, designer / builder of light aircraft
