DURANDAL-3
Eurofox 3k 80 hp
170 km/h at 4600 rpm
Tempered 20° QNH 1020
Not even 26 inches at intake
At this rpm I am not far from 11 to 12 liters per hour.
Its economic cruising speed must be in fact at 4600 rpm and 160 km/h and can be not far from 10 liters per hour.
What more can you ask for at the price of the fuel...
PS: the propeller is obviously very concerned by this performance...

DURANDAL-3
This morning with a colleague, I was just talking about you, your propeller on my Eurofox and the satisfaction it brought me. On my side with my variable pitch Kaspar:
Eurofox 3k 100 hp
155 km/h at 5000 rpm
2000' Tempered 20° QNH 1014
26 inches at intake

DURANDAL-3
E-Props propeller ordered for a Eurofox 3K.
the Woodcomp is really too basic and no constant speed effect so not very good in terms of efficiency.
The main reason for this choice is the lightness of the propeller and cone assembly.
The Woodcomp carbon weighs 5.2 kg and with the extension of the aluminium hub with the cone, one should not be far from 6 kg.
We are at the upper limit of the moment of inertia as predicted by ROTAX.
The E-Props weighs 2.5 kg and the complete cone 510 grams, so the difference is almost 3 kg. In terms of the moment of inertia it is day and night.
I finally found the optimum setting for my E-Props, almost identical to epsilon near the recommended setting, so 22.4° for 22° recommended.
I get 5350 rpm full throttle dry with 10°C temperature and 5500 rpm full throttle in level.
I climb to 5250 rpm at 90/100 km/h which is very good and perfectly in the Rotax layout.
The performance is there, it climbs much better, it goes faster and it doesn't vibrate anymore.

Return flight very well with either 400 Tr less engine power or 20 KM/H more
Thank you
