DURANDAL-3
Tested in MTOW conditions on asphalt runway and the result is absolutely astonishing:
- Take off in 130 mt;
- Climb rate stands at approximately 1400 ft/m - 130 km/h IAS
- Cruising at 4600 rpm 195 IAS
- Cruising at 4800 rpm 205 IAS
- Full power at 5500 rpm 225 IAS and climb to + 800 ft/m to avoid exceeding the VNE.
I found that taking off and the plane cruising needs more right rudder than before,
I have noticed an improved agility on the pitch and yaw axes.
Comparing the performance of the previous Warp Drive 180 diameter:
Cruise: + 20 km / h IAS in 4600 and +15 at 4800 rpm
Takeoff: + 30/40 mt
rate of climb: +200 ft/m and +10 km/h (the first was 1200 ft/m at 120 Km/h ias)
.... WOW ....
