SERGE PENNEC GAZAILE II

The Gaz'aile II is a small two-seater homebuilt aircraft designed by Serge Pennec, whose particularity is its motorization. This plane is equipped with automotive engines (diesel or gasoline) whose most powerful allows to reach 150 kt (280 km/h) in cruise.
The association of the manufacturers of Gaz'ailes, called CSA, chose the E-PROPS propellers for this comfortable and powerful aircraft.

Eprops is very strong. I had one on my paramotor and I have one on my gazaile. It's unbreakable. I would not exchange it for anything in the world.

The assembly of the prop went very well, due to the perfect instructions.
I used the proposed angel for the blades.
I had a static engine speed of 5200 rpm wat seemed to be ok for a start.
Then the first take-off… what a power, the plane was ascending at 1300 feet a min…fantastic!!
Then at 2500 f the horizontal flight, the engine had a max speed of 5400 rpm, also very good.
Then I made a flight at the speed a usually take, and the engine speed was 200 rpm lower than with my old propeller…Amazing!
I assume that this result in less fuel consumtion?
I’m glade I made this change.
