3-blade Carbon - Titanium propeller, ground adjustable pitch
DURANDAL-R

for tow aircraft equipped with Rotax 912S & 914
Diameters : 175, 180, 185 or 190 cm (to be confirmed in orders comments)
Mass : 2,1 kg
Drilling pattern : 6M8d101,6 L13 (Rotax 9XX standard)
Clockwise rotation sense : right rotation, seen in the wind made by the propeller

STANDARD KIT:
- Propeller = Carbon Hub + Carbon Blades with Titanium leading edge protection
- Carbon spacer, if necessary
- Screws (standard)
- Propeller Identification Sheet, with first recommended pitch


OPTIONS (extra cost) :
- Spinners : exist in 15 different diameters
- Titanium Screws : saves 115 g (on the 3-blade version) and to check the tightening of the screws from 100h to 200h.
- Digital Protractor (handy to adjust blade pitch)
- Protection covers for blades : available in Polyester or Neoprene, as desired>
- Rotax drive lugs changer (the assembly of the E-Props V20 range is done without Rotax drive lugs)

Comparative tests of DURANDAL & GLORIEUSE propellers on WT9 towing (May 2024)
After 16 comparative test flights, the WT9 DYNAMIC REMO equipped with the E-Props Glorieuse propeller demonstrated performance and flying qualities equal to or better than the same type of aircraft fitted with propellers previously approved for glider towing.

Comparative tests : propellers on WT9 tow aircraft (April 2016)
The 3-blades E-PROPS propeller ground adjustable pitch :
- is lighter (gain 9,5 kg)
- less expensive (gain 3 879 €)
- with a 6,5 time higher TBO
is significantly more efficient than the 3-blades variable pitch WOODCOMP.

Comparative propellers tests made on WT9 Dynamic Club SD tow aircraft (May 2014)
Between :
- reference propeller : composite 3-blades ground adjustable pitch (Duc Windspoon)
- E-Props Durandal-R propeller : carbon 3-blades ground adjustable pitch
Result : with the E-Props, rate of climb is better of more than 30 % against the reference propeller

Tow ultralights approved in France : Dynamic WT9, CH-650, AK3, MCR-ULC, Eurofox, Ikarus C42, G1-R Spyl, Sensation, Tetras C, Nynja, A22 Vision, A22 L2, VL-3, Sila 450C, Viper SD4, ... E-PROPS propellers are efficient on all these aircraft.
