Performance (compared to the original Pipistrel wooden propeller) :
- gain of more than 20% of climb rate
- speed of rotation decreasing by about 100 rpm when climbing towards 100 km/h and recovery of the initial speed (6550 rpm) towards 125 km/h
- propeller stop after ignition cut-off almost instantaneously, at a reasonable speed 20% above the stall speed
- strong decrease of vibrations
- weight gain of 1.2 kg

This is the 3rd Pipistrel Taurus that I have equipped and I helped 2 pilots to make the documents for the French Civil Aviation Administration (DGAC).
The gain in safety is important because the propeller stops immediately, contrary to the wooden propeller which imposes to slow down its speed and to put itself in danger of stalling.
No more need to weld the jacks of the exhaust pipe which cools down more slowly.
The Rotax 505 gives all its power. At Serres airfield (LFTM), if the wind is south and therefore backwards, with the wooden propeller, I asked for towing.
Certainly 1 gain in glide if the engine blocks, pylon out.
Gain in rate of climb.
