Since 1997, more than 2000 units of the CT range of fast and comfortable ultralights have been produced and delivered all over the world.
The CT aircraft are approved with E-Props propellers and it's with these propellers that they offer the best performance.

E-Props Users Feedback on the CTSW :

DURANDAL-3
I have installed the prop. It works fine.

DURANDAL-3
Replaced my Neuform propeller with an E-Props: what a success! All performances are increased at least by 30%. No vibrations. Excellent.

GLORIEUSE-3
This Constant Speed propeller has changed the flying qualities of our CTSW. We have a fighter plane now.

DURANDAL-3
I have purchased an E prop for my Flight Design CTSW and it seems to be working nicely.
Nice smooth starts and stops. Cruises faster than my original propeller. Climbs out about the same. Set propeller at level fight T 5500rpm as Manuel recommends.
My only problem is slowing down for landing.
J.C. (2022-05-25)

DURANDAL-3
I am keeping your propeller because it offers much better performance than the Neuform propeller I had before. I didn't think that changing my propeller would change my plane that much. For me the propeller was an accessory but in fact not. When I received the package I thought it was empty because the propeller is so light. I congratulate you.

DURANDAL-3
This three-blade propeller completely changes the performance of my aircraft even on my airfield which is at 4500 ft altitude. I am very satisfied with the performance, the finish and the customer service.

DURANDAL-3
Perfect propeller for my CT. What a light weight.

Test report E-PROPS on our CTSW:
Pre-flight ground check
Carried out final check on pitch
Rebalanced carbies and reduced to 1600RPM idle, as the RPM was noticeably higher with the E-Props compared to the original Neuform
Test flight:
Pitch 27.2º (within 0.3º specified tolerance)
Test carried out without spinner

4800 @ 110kts
5000 @ 115kts
5400 @ 125kts (This was only held for a short period but we believe the speed could have continued to increase at this throttle setting)
These results vastly exceed anything seen with the previous Neuform. At times, with 2-up, we were battling to hit 105kts in good conditions.
Some observations:
There is a noticeable lag when throttle is applied rapidly – it’s only momentary, but noticeable. We think this may be a characteristic of the high aspect ratio producing momentary cavitation. It’s not problematic, especially as all of us use gradual throttle increases.
Given the reduced swept area of the props, it may be that the breaking effect on final is reduced – again, not a problem but requiring a bit of relearning.
VERY pleased with the results. The E-Props system definitely exceeds our expectations.

DURANDAL-3
With my new eprop on my CTsw, I cruise at over 128 kt and take off super-short. I'm very happy with my new light and efficient propeller.

DURANDAL-3
Anne and Bryan,
Thank you soooooo much for making this excellent propellers.
I had it installed today on my CTSW and flew with it for about 30 minutes, me and my mechanics are extremely impressed with the performance, packaging, delivery and the sales process of the propellers.
You have a very satisfied customer and I will be sure the pass the words around on what a great product you guys made at E-Props.

Helice Eprop received this week.
Disassembly + reassembly + adjustment steps = 3 hours.
720 flight hours on my CTSW.

OAT at 3800 feet -4°C
Fixed Point 5670 rpm
Bearing 4800 rpm 3800 feet SAR = 200 km/h
Bearing 5000 rpm 3800 feet SAR = 210 km/h
WOT 5740 rpm TAS = 242 km/h
Vario max 3800 feet 1300 feet/mn

Test #2
Pitch at 400mm 25.9
Altitude 3800 feet
OAT at 3800 feet -4°C
Fixed Point 5450 rpm
Bearing 4800 rpm 3800 feet SAR = 200 km/h
Bearing 5000 rpm 3800 feet SAR = 219 km/h
Bearing 5200 rpm 3800 feet SAR = 231 km/h
WOT 5500 rpm TAS = 245 km/h
Vario max 3800 feet 1400 feet/mn

Sensations: less vibration at idle, smoother start and stop.
During the go-around (test 2) vibrations for the first 40 meters and then a quick stop of these vibrations as soon as the speed increases: maybe a stall of the airfalls.
I think the final setting will be around 25.4°.
Compared to the original propeller:
- gain of 10 km/h
- climb tx > 200 feet minutes
Less vibration at low rpm (<2500 rpm) and high rpm (>5250 rpm).
So rather positive all that!
M.B. (2017-01-13)

DURANDAL-3
I'm very happy with my propeller!
I gained at least 15 km/h by changing my Neuform. And at the same time I take off shorter. I have gained at least 300 ft in climb! And what comfort! The stop of the Rotax is much softer. So I keep it!
