IKARUS COMCO C42

The IKARUS C42 is a two-seater ULM, fixed tricycle leading gear, manufactured in Germany by COMCO IKARUS. It is mainly used for flying school and leisure flights.

revised and corrected setting. 21.8° as indicated. Control flight at 2300ft, full throttle, 5300 rpm. On takeoff it is impressive (1000 ft/min or more). In level flight, almost 95 knts. And immediate reactivity. For me it fits.

Initially set at 20.7 degrees: rpm 5250, rate of climb around 900ft/mn (altitude 1400ft QNH, pressure 1020Hp, temperature 20°c).
We will change the pitch to 5500 rpm in horizontal flight, as shown.
The propeller is very quiet and the comfort is total, with no vibrations.
We are very satisfied with the change.
