The E-Props propellers are designed, manufactured and tested to meet the requirements of the aeronautical standards.
Quality and safety are ongoing concerns for the E-PROPS company, throughout the design, procurement, manufacturing, testing and marketing of all its products.

1 - EASA Certifications
At the end of 2021, E-PROPS has initiated the following procedures:
- with French DGAC (Civil Aviation Authority), application for a Production Organization Approval
(POA) according to
EASA Part 21 subpart G
- with EASA, application for Type Certificates for some E-Props models suitable for use on certified aircraft
The range of 3-blade propellers for gear-drive engines
DURANDAL - EPGU3 has been certified by EASA in March 2023.
=> See the EASA Type Certificate here :
EASA P.512 (EPGU3) dated 02 March 2023
=> Available on the EASA website here :
EASA.P.512 - E-Props EPGU3 series propeller
In a few months' time, E-PROPS will apply for
DOA (Design Organisation Approval).
Privileges: the DOA holder can carry out design activities within the scope of EASA approval, have compliance documents accepted by EASA without further verification, and carry out activities independently of EASA.
This DOA approval will be the official recognition of E-PROPS' technical expertise and know-how.
2 - ASTM F2506-13 Standards validations
The E-PROPS propellers (DURANDAL, EXCALIBUR, GLORIEUSE ranges) meet the
ASTM F2506-13 standards, for the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA).
The ASTM F2506-13 specification covers the establishment of the minimum requirements for the design, testing, and quality assurance of fixed-pitch
or ground adjustable propellers for Light Sport Aircraft. Strength testing, stress measurement, fatigue strength, and fatigue analysis, endurance testing,
and teardown inspection shall be performed to meet the requirements prescribed.
Declarations of Compliance to ASTM F2506-13 :
✗ Range DURANDAL
✗ Range EXCALIBUR
✗ Range GLORIEUSE
3 - Service Bulletins / Service Letters
The
Service Bulletins are published by the manufacturers of aeronautical products.
They are established to prevent the users of a technical problem, a novelty or an improvement of an aeronautical product, as well as to transmit a technical information
concerning the use of an aeronautical product.
The Service Bulletins issued by the E-PROPS company are available hereafter.
